Nishimukitenjinsha (Nishimukiten Shrine)


It was local deity company of Higashiokubo-mura and ever said Okubo Tenman-gu Shrine for a long time. We have the large precincts, and trees of chinquapin make forest even now. kansei did Kitano-Tenman-gu Shrine of Kyoto dedicated to Michizane Sugawara. Because main shrine turned to the west (Kyoto), the name called Nishimukitenjinsha (Nishimukiten Shrine) was acquired in the topography. There is common name called jujube (jujube) Tenjin elsewhere, too.
