Eifukuji is a temple of soto sect of Buddhism and called Ohisayamaeifukuji. It is told with the (1648) foundation in 1648. As you walk through the gate, a gilt bronze statue and the statue of Jizobosatsu (the guardian deity of children), which you can hardly find in anywhere else in Shinjuku welcome you.
The bronze statue was made in 1756. It is 1.76 meters tall.
The other statue is sitting in the half lotus position. It was made in 1853 and is 1.08 meters tall.
Also, around the graveyard, there is Koshin tower surface of which is engraved with Rokujizo.
