Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Rakuu-Tei

Rakuu-Tei, located in the Japanese Traditional Garden, is a tea house built in 1987. White plum blossoms in front of Rakuu-Tei bloom earliest in Shinjuku Gyoen.

You can enjoy powdered green tea served with seasonal Japanese sweets sitting on the chair in the traditional old fashioned tea house. [charge] Besides, the tea house can be rented for formal tea ceremony. There is another tea house called Shoten-Tei, normally being used for kiosk.
