TSUMAMI-KANZASHI MUSEUM

"Snacks ornamental hairpin" is richly colored thin small silk tradition craft which goes berserk, and picks up with o tweezers, and is inherited with made ornamental hairpin and hair ornament which assumed flower or chicken, animal decoration birth today in the Edo era. Not only we display hair of 753 girls and maikos beautifully, but also various works including interior of accessories and room are brought about now.

"The pickup ornamental hairpin museum (Shinjuku Mini Museum)" was able to observe work in the genealogy, work and studio of history and craftsman at museum of the only snacks ornamental hairpin in the whole country opened in October, 1993, too. Kenji Ishida, Takashis to preside over protects the traditional skill as a few snacks ornamental hairpin craftsmen who became approximately 15 people in the whole country.
