Ina-shi, Nagano is friendship town of Shinjuku-ku! Children introduce charm of Ina Valley!

We send a certain characteristic agricultural and livestock products including municipalities of neighborhood around Ina-shi in "Ina Valley child Marchais".

Ina Valley among Central Japan Alps and the Southern Alps is endowed with rich nature such as water from mountain, the rich soil, clear air, and there are delicious farm products to boast of to rice, vegetables, the whole country including fruit tree a lot.

Children whom we invited public participation for harvest daikon and apples to sell in Marchais and look forward to sending it to people of Shinjuku directly.


Friendship tie-up city of Shinjuku and connection Shinjuku-ku of Ina-shi

Ina-shi is nature symbiosis city brought up by rich nature and history, culture that the magnificent mountains of Southern Alps and Central Japan Alps range located at South Nagano, and the Tenryu River and Mitsumine River flow through central part of city.
Shinjuku-ku and relationship with Ina-shi (old Takatou town) date back to the Edo era.
The current Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden whole area was suburban residence of a daimyo of the lofty feudal lord Naitos and, from post town "Naito Shinjuku" that part was new and relations that it was, deepened friendship by mutual interchange.
Ina-shi, Hase-mura merged Ina-shi with lofty town which concluded friendship tie-up on March 31, 2006 and were born.
In hope of friendly relationship with old Takatou town developing more, Shinjuku-ku and Ina-shi declared friendship tie-up on July 2, 2006.
