Picture book is loved widely by people, and various stories are read today more than generation. Above all, cut along outline of story raises imagination of reader and gives story warmth and strength with rich color and unusual expression. Not only child enjoys, but also picture book fully conveys the charm to adult, and there seems to be much to put favorite picture book at hand, and to enjoy these days.

It is not known very much that the original picture of such a picture book is dealt with by not only specialized picture book writer but also Japanese painter. Therefore we spotlight work of picture book by Japanese painter and introduce.

At first we have you appreciate the picture book original picture as elaborating product, and there sees unique expression that stood on characteristic as element and technique of seen Japanese painting and picture book by book exhibition. We display this image work by exhibition painter in addition at the same time and want to do with opportunity to appreciate comparison of expression of both works or originality that tsutei does there.
